6. TOOLS AND APPLICATIONS USED

a. We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. This service uses so-called “cookies” (see above). The information generated by cookies about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server and stored there.

On our behalf, Google uses this information to evaluate your use of our website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data.

The storage of cookies required by Google Analytics can be prevented by a corresponding setting of your browser software; however, this may lead to. that you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent. You can prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) and its transmission to and processing by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available under the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de

If you would like further information on the type, scope and purpose of the data collected by Google, we recommend that you read their data protection regulations.

b. We also use Google Adwords to draw attention to our attractive offers and products on external websites with the help of advertisements. This tool also allows us to determine exactly the relationship between the individual advertising measures in relation to specific campaigns. We pursue the interest of showing you tailored advertising according to your interests and achieving a fair calculation of advertising costs in this context.

The advertisements displayed to you are served by Google via so-called “ad servers.” For this purpose, we use ad server cookies, which allow certain parameters, such as the display of ads or clicks by users, to be measured in order to determine the success of advertising campaigns. This works in such a way that in cases where you access our website via a Google ad, Google Adwords stores a cookie in your browser, which usually expires after 30 days. This cookie is not used to identify you personally, but to store the Unique Cookie ID, the number of ad impressions per placement, the last impression (relevant for post-view conversions) and opt-out information for analysis purposes.

We ourselves do not collect and process any personal data as part of the use of Google Adwords, but only receive statistical evaluations from Google, on the basis of which we can determine which of the advertising campaigns we use are particularly effective.

In addition to the measures already described, you can prevent participation in this tracking process by deactivating cookies for conversion tracking by setting your browser so that cookies from the domain “www.googleadservices.com” are blocked, or by permanently deactivating them in your Firefox, Internet Explorer or Google Chrome browsers under the link http://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin.

c. In addition, we use the Google Remarketing application, which is a process that we would like to use to address you even if you leave our website again. In this context, we can show you our advertisements when you continue to use the Internet after visiting our website. This is done by means of cookies stored in your browser, via which your usage behavior is recorded and evaluated by Google when you visit various websites.

For example, Google can determine your previous visit to our website, but according to Google, the processed personal data is pseudonymized during remarketing.

d. This website also uses the online marketing tool DoubleClick by Goo-gle. DoubleClick uses cookies to serve ads relevant to users, improve campaign performance reports, or to prevent a user from seeing the same ads multiple times. Google uses a cookie ID to track which ads are displayed in which browser and can prevent them from being displayed multiple times. In addition, DoubleClick can use cookie IDs to track so-called conversions that are related to ad requests. This is the case, for example, when a user sees a DoubleClick ad and later visits the advertiser’s website with the same browser and buys something there. According to Google, DoubleClick cookies do not contain any personal information. In addition to the measures already described, you can prevent participation in this tracking process by deactivating cookies for conversion tracking by setting your browser so that cookies from the domain “www.googleadservices.com” are blocked, or by permanently deactivating them in your Firefox, Internet Explorer or Google Chrome browsers under the link http://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin.

e. We use the offers of Google Maps on our website. This allows us to show you interactive maps directly on the website and enables you to use the map function conveniently.

By visiting our website, Google receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding subsite of our website and the personal data listed under c. This is done regardless of whether you are logged in via a Google account or not. If you are logged in to Google, your data will be directly assigned to your account. If you do not wish this, you must log out of Google before using this service. Google uses your data for advertising, market research and needs-based website design purposes. You have the right to object to this use of your data, which you must address directly to Google.

Further information on the purpose and scope of data collection can be found in Google’s privacy policy, which can be found at http://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy. Google also processes your data in the USA and has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield

f. On our website, we also set links to other websites; this is done for information purposes only. These websites are not under our control and are therefore not subject to the provisions of this privacy policy. If you activate a link, it is possible that the operator of this website collects data about you and processes it in accordance with its privacy policy, which may differ from ours.

7. DATA TRANSFER

Your data will not be passed on to third parties unless we are legally obliged to do so, the data transfer is necessary for the implementation of a contractual relationship concluded between us or you have expressly consented to the transfer of your data beforehand. External processors or other cooperation partners will only receive your data if this is necessary for the execution of the contract or if we have a legitimate interest in it. If one of our processors comes into contact with your personal data, we ensure that it complies with the provisions of data protection laws in the same way as we do.

Your personal data will not be sold or otherwise marketed by us to third parties outside the group.

If our contractual partners or processors are based in a third country, i.e. a country outside the European Economic Area (EEA), we will inform you about the consequences of this circumstance in the description of the offer.

8. SECURITY

We use numerous technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against manipulation, loss, destruction and against access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments on the Internet.

9. YOUR RIGHTS

  • Right to information (Art. 15 GDPR) As a data subject, you have the right to request information about whether and, if so, which personal data concerning you are being processed. • Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) Under the legal requirements, you have the right to restrict the processing of all collected personal data. From the restriction request onwards, these data will only be processed with individual consent or for the assertion and enforcement of legal claims.
  • Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) You may request the unhindered and unrestricted transmission of collected personal data to a third party.
  • Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR)
  • Withdrawal of consent If you have separately given consent to the processing of your data, you can revoke this at any time. Such a revocation affects the lawfulness of processing your personal data after you have expressed it to us.

If you take action to enforce your rights under the GDPR as listed above, Ray Service Vertriebs GmbH must comment on the requested action or comply with the request without delay, but no later than one month after receipt of your request.
