Data Center Convention 2022 in Vienna

The annual highlight of the “Get 2 Gether in the IT sector” is the DATA CENTER Convention, which will be held this year on 28th and 29th of September 2022 at the Grandhotel Wien.

Topic of the DATA CENTER Convention 2022:

“Energy and data flow – fuel of DIGITALIZATION“

THE FACT THAT WE NEED CONTROL ENERGY (no matter how many wind turbines we install) has been clear for a long time.
The fact that natural gas could become a scarce commodity in Austria was clear in March.
The fact that energy-intensive systems, such as data centers, must learn to deal with the upcoming planned economy is only slowly becoming clear to some operators.

ELECTRIFICATION ALSO IN BUILDING TECHNOLOGY – a difficult undertaking in view of rising electricity prices. Nevertheless, some efficiency potentials are still untapped and could now be exploited.

ENERGY AUTONOMY AND SUSTAINABILITY are enormous goals that challenge planners and operators.
